Fit and healthy people come in many different shapes, sizes and weights, more so than you might think. And it is never too late to start.

So although you may think of a gym just in terms of weight loss or bigger muscles, and certainly a consistent programme of exercise will help with either of these goals, the benefits from the right kind of exercise go beyond that, and coming to the gym can become a good habit you want to keep.

Capel Gym is a small, friendly gym which combines top quality fitness instruction and Life Fitness equipment to provide members from age 14 to 60+ with everything they need to get and stay fit, healthy, and strong. The prices are modest, there is no joining fee, and we don’t ask you to sign up for a whole year either.

At Capel Gym we want you to feel comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

We will make sure you know how to use the equipment properly and safely and give you a regularly reviewed fitness programme to help you achieve your goals.

If you are looking for a challenge, we will provide it. But we will also provide encouragement to the beginner.
